Goals: • Development of a self-learning system, which forecasts the arrival of trucks and vessels and therefore allows for an optimized resource planning and transshipment at the port • Algorithms for an efficient and real-time calculation of dynamic bin locations • Ecological and economical evaluation • Cross-linking of all involved parties • Harmonized planning of transport processes • Efficient processes at the port, especially concerning • Arrival estimates • Container management • Vessel dispatch

  19. TG 5 - Navigability • The Ennshafen OÖ Ltd. together with via donau (Austria’s waterway and management and development company) guarantee a minimum of 2.7 m unloading depth the whole year on the waterway Enns and in both basins. (mentioned already above)

  20. Environmental Status • There are several projects in Austria concerning the protection of the Danube Habitat Mentioned in the Status quo report
